On Tuesday, April 14, the Morchem plant in Fontanar had the pleasure of welcoming students from Year 12 of the Deutsche Schule Madrid. This activity is part of the company’s commitment to scientific outreach and collaboration with educational institutions.

The students who took part in the visit, accompanied by their respective teachers, are currently in their final year of studies. At this stage, they are fully immersed in preparing for and taking their final exams, a decisive moment in their academic journey.

The main reason for the visit was the students’ interest in chemistry, as they are studying this subject as part of their academic program. This sparked their interest in getting to know a company in the chemical sector such as Morchem, allowing them to observe first-hand the practical application of chemistry.

The day began with a welcome and a brief presentation of the company by the CEO, Helmut Schaeidt. This was followed by a specific presentation on the product from a chemical perspective. Afterwards, the students took part in a guided tour of the plant facilities, visiting different areas such as the Laboratory, the Control Room, and the Production Tower, among others.

The experience proved enriching for both parties. For the students, it was an opportunity to gain insight into the industrial reality of the chemical sector, while for MORCHEM it was a pleasure to contribute to sparking or strengthening young people’s interest in chemistry.

MORCHEM would like to extend its best wishes to all the students and wish them the very best of luck in their final exams.

We are pleased to share that MORCHEM will be present again at the upcoming edition of the TECHTEXTIL trade fair, recognised as one of the most important events for the technical textiles and nonwovens sector. 1985 – 2025

On September 20th, we proudly celebrated the 40th anniversary of MORCHEM’s founding.

All Morchem team members—from our headquarters in Spain as well as our colleagues from across Europe, India, and the USA—were invited to join this special occasion.

We gathered our big Morchem family for a visit to Bodegas Torres, a renowned winery near Barcelona, followed by a celebratory lunch at Finca Elyssia by Freixenet.

The event featured live music from a talented quartet and a magician who entertained the guests during the aperitif. Once seated, our CEO, Mr. Helmut Schaeidt, delivered an inspiring speech reflecting on the company’s achievements over the past 40 years and outlining his vision for the forthcoming decades, accompanied by a compelling visual presentation.

In addition to expressing his gratitude to the entire Morchem team for their unwavering commitment over the past 40 years, he emphasized the importance of key values such as exemplary customer service, excellence, long-term dedication, teamwork, efficiency, innovation, integrity, and sustainable medium- to long-term profitability.

Helmut Schaeidt outlined a clear vision for the years ahead: “To be the technological benchmark in adhesives and lamination coatings.”

Guided by these core values, we are committed to expanding our global presence, leading the industry in innovation, and responding with agility and efficiency.

“I encourage you all to embrace this new chapter with enthusiasm, pride, and a collaborative spirit. Each of you is an essential part of this journey,” Helmut Schaeidt concluded.

We embark on this journey with renewed confidence and optimism for the future!

The atmosphere was truly fantastic throughout the day, with everyone connecting, sharing stories, and enjoying the celebration together.

We look forward to the next 40 years of innovation, growth, and teamwork at MORCHEM!

After three inspiring days filled with meaningful conversations, trend insights, and valuable exchanges, FACHPACK 2025 has officially come to an end.

As we celebrate 40 years in the business, we’re deeply grateful for your continued trust, support, and the enriching discussions that fuel our commitment to the industry.

Thank you for visiting us — and see you again soon!
